The challenge

To celebrate Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary by bringing the magic from Florida to London, and recreating an inspired experience of the parks for superfans and VIPs.

The Solution

We took an experiential approach to this event to ensure we captured the experience of Walt Disney World Florida, rather than just hosting a fantastic party.

We were able to deliver an immersive experience for guests, drawing on the spirit of Main Street and the four different parks. Live appearances, music, stunning decoration, themed food and drink, interactive elements and photo opportunities created a truly memorable and magical evening for all.

The invitation

The invitation set the tone for the event. A beautifully illustrated case contained a bespoke glass bottle, illuminated with fairy lights. Inside, a pouch contained the invitation, curled up like a scroll. The whole effect injected a little bit of Disney magic into the recipient's day, and stirred up anticipation for the event.

The Build

Over three days, we transformed London's Tobacco Dock into an enchanting destination inspired by Walt Disney World Florida. Thousands of lights, mirrors and shimmering surfaces created the requested atmosphere of ear-idescence.

The Event

Guests made their way through a celebratory balloon arch to receive their goody bag, containing gifts and their event passport, to be stamped in each area.

Upstairs, a stunning chandelier set the mood, as guests mingled and enjoyed themed cocktails inspired by the four parks. Lights, props and decorations recreated the sense of Main Street, while food such as hot dogs and popcorn was served.

The orchestra played Disney classics until the moment came for guests to move into the auditorium.

The Parks

Magic Kingdom Park

Guests met and took selfies with Mickey and Minnie, Chip and Dale, Donald and Daisy, Cinderella, Fairy Godmother and Peter Pan, and tried to spot Tinkerbell as she flitted mischievously around.

They posed for photos in front of a spectacular Cinderella Castle backdrop and neon Mickey balloons, all surrounded by the sights and smells of Main Street.
