The Challenge

Cartoon Network wanted to reach and engage its core audience with its Climate Champions initiative during the July/August 2022 holiday period, across multiple EMEA markets.

While the campaign had reached a large number of kids through launch and sustain activity, a fresh and innovative approach was needed to boost longevity. The aim was to increase awareness and affinity with the CN Climate Champions campaign using targeted digital activity.

Our Response

We developed a new and unique way for the TA to interact with the campaign and deliver the key success metric of ‘accept a challenge’. We developed unique app targeted ad-units that could deliver the audience experience required to achieve the campaign objectives.

The Results

Overall, the campaign exceeded the engagement benchmark. By running activity across kids’ favourite apps, the campaign reached the audience where they were spending the most time and inspired them to take on small challenges to make a world of difference.
