Mickey Mouse and the Roadster Racers

8th May 2017

The one and only Mickey Mouse has been spotted out and about on the streets of London with his new Hot Doggin’ Hot Rod, celebrating the launch of the brand new animated series, ‘Mickey and The Roadster Racers’. He’s been spotted at various locations across London, including a taxi rank at Charing Cross, Tower Bridge, Westfield, Southbank and the London Motor Show.

The question is, where did he get a car like that? In fact, it’s the creation of our specialist team of engineers, model makers, designers and logistic specialists. Our team was working hard over the course of eight weeks to make the Hot Doggin Hot Rod. It is over 2.4 metres in length, and features a ‘28’ on the side, which represents the year in which Mickey Mouse first appeared on screen in ‘Steamboat Willie’ in 1928, almost 90 years ago.

‘Mickey and the Roadster Racers’ will be shown on DisneyLife and Disney Junior and follows Mickey and pals – Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto – as they race across the globe on action-packed adventures, including a dash across London to stop a crown jewel thief.
